Terry Goodkind: Warheart (Hardcover, 2015, Tor Books)

Review of 'Warheart' on 'Goodreads'

As the previous 3 books, this book is geting on ur nerves. Theres not as much repetition in this one, but instead he finds 10 ways to say the same thing again and again, which is incredibly anoying. And then a character ask something about the subject and it gets ansered in yet another 10 ways. The book feels very short and lacking of details like we know it from the original series and should have been twice the size in pages with more relevant story or even passtime silly story while trevelling etc.
Some of the incidents, xplanations and excuses for why they cant do this or that is downright stupid, and makes little sense what we've seen they can do with magic in previous books. They should have been able to do this, or done that in some other way, yet he just says no they cant, to move the story along.
Some of the deaths were just bad. Predictable and anoying. Why so much needless dying just for the sake of adding action?! They should have had a lot more story, especially Caras, it just felt so rushed.
Where u see some things coming clearly ahead, and where u feel the characters should as well, he writes them off as dimwhitted and without memory of whats happened in the previous books!

But, Great book! Im so glad to get the end of this story now and I did enjoy them, tho not half as much as the first 11 books. That being said, PLS stop here. Pls dont write anymore to this story, these last 4 have been boring, rushed and disapointing compared to what we are used to. Let it be now, and let us remember this fantastic story in our hearts and minds from now on.
I highly recommend new readers to NOT read book 12-15. Stop after Confessor, it has a perfect and awsome ending, and has no need for any followup to end satisfactiory. They also have a lot of spelling errors, which is like a slap in the face when u read a book. What happened to quality in publishing? Pls hire better ppl to do the job with these things, and increase the deadlines.
I only finished them because I hate leaving something unfinished once Ive started, and I regret I didnt read reviews first. Im happy I finished them now, but the story ends here for me now, for good.
