The title makes it sound like a flash-in-the-pan mashup, but a lot of thought was put into this fictional biography. If you like David McCullough-type biographies, this will be a really fun read. If you're not into biographies, you may very well still enjoy the story as well.[return][return]The story follows Lincoln from his early years straight through to his assassination. All the major components of Lincoln's life are accurately portrayed. Vampirism is woven in as a feature of the slavery issue -- you can imagine why vampires would want to be able to purchase slaves.
