OK - I'm still loving the series. I have some personal feelings about which love interest would be the one I'd choose. I'm finding Edward to be a bit of a control freak, but I should remember that he's a really old man and that's what old guys do. I much prefer Jacob, although I don't know if I should be worried about the whole werewolf-freakout-and-maul-your-face issue. Is it really a problem? Or just as problematic as getting a papercut in a room full of vampires?I do have one question - vampire's spit is poison, right? Wasn't there a passage where Edward licked Bella's lips?
