Review of 'When Stars Are Scattered' on 'Goodreads'

5 stars

Such an intense and moving book. No wonder it won many awards. Very real and practical. Finding it hard to write a review without giving away spoilers. If you have been living a life where you didn't have to worry if or not you will have another meal in the past 3-5 years then please read this book.

p.s: Special kudos to the writer and the illustrator. To bring a book to life is no joke. It is one thing to write fiction, somehow you can draw a line and disassosiate yourself from the characters with some effort. But even that is hard. To write a book based on real life and portray both the highs and lows. It is almost like living the life twice. When famous pop culture celebs write about their life, it is a different thing. They did most of that to themselves. So, a biography for them is reflective. But then this is purely fate's doing and I see no reason why anyone would "want" to re-live that except for it to be a beacon of light to the readers. So, rush little readers, rush, grab the book and be the light.
