A fun and light read. Also kind of "ewww" and "gross" at many places.
Why is this named "Boy's club", many woman/girls are 100x more gross and ewww than that?
Why haven't all "woke feminists" called this book out yet? tsk tsk tsk, I am disappointed in you all, fella feminists.
Few major learnings from this book:
- the best response to "what's up?" is always "Chilling like a champ as usual"
- the famous emoticon character of Truelayer orginated from this book. :pepoween-wow:
OMG OMG OMG
An illustrated children’s book about Maths and Love.
Is there anything on earth better than this?
Turned out to be such a beautiful adorable read.
Loved it.
Eeevry bit of it.
From beginning to the end.
And you know what, it had an ending that is better than “happily ever after”.
If you are wondering what on earth could Possibly be better than “happily every after” you must most certainly read this beautiful piece of marvel.
BTW, it is also available in “The internet archive”
For the first time ever there were few parts of the book that I had to disagree. This has never happened in any of his books so far. I can never agree that any form of suicide is okay no matter how nobel the cause is.
Except for that part, this book is yet another insightful book by beloved Thich Nhat Hanh. Let us remember his words and be mindful and compassionate in our words and actions.
Very inspiring not just because of her discoveries. Also because of her grace. During her teens she stayed back in Poland, tutoring kids and earning money to send to her sister so that her sister could complete education. After that she got a scholarship and went to university. After graduating when she made enough money, she paid back her scholarship and told them to use the money on someone else.
I am not sure if I would have acted this way during my teen days. So much respect for the humanity she has had!
It is nice to know that her family and friends where quiet cheerful and supportive of her life choices.
Her perseverance at work, her grace as a human, and of course being a scientist as a women in that time and many more. You are remembered and loved, Marie Curie!

Disturbing in a good way I guess.
The blurb said the book is a sci-fi graphic novel, I would say it is a moving tale on the cruelty to black people with vivid imagery.
The things that people do. Many wise people had told this in various forms, "It is impossible to hate someone when you know their full story". There is one thing to hurt another with an intention of hurting. But god! the things that we do in the name of love. People end up killing their children, selling their children, raping each other, and whatnot, all in the name of love. When we get to know their full story like everyone else they too have a story that had shaped them that way.
This thought is scary. Knowing that I am also a human does not seem good when we see this aspect of human beings. But …

This thought is scary. Knowing that I am also a human does not seem good when we see this aspect of human beings. But then the world has also witnessed men and women of great kindness, courage, and honor. It is the wolf that we choose, isn't it?
A boy and his dog . . . a girl and her . . . unicorn?
It all started when …
