I wanted to love this book. I really did, but it was just too convoluted. I keep rethinking my rating because of that.
I think I would have enjoyed this book more if I hadn't read the story collector first.

Loved the story and all the adventures he had riding through Italy. He visited some places I have been to as well, which added to the joy.
If you read this, go check out the pictures on his website. It made me smile so much to see them and remember the book through them.
