Lector lento y por tanto bastante intencional desde hace unos años. No busco el «placer de la lectura» (tampoco lo evito), sino conocer la cultura del ser humano para comprender lo que somos, por pretencioso que parezca. Ese es el motivo por el que estoy intentando leer primero los grandes clásicos del ―así llamado― canon occidental, casi exclusivamente, y probablemente haga lo propio con otros «cánones» en un futuro.
Géneros e intereses: Ficción, literatura clásica griega y latina, novela realista y psicológica rusa y francesa del s. XIX, clásicos, canon occidental. De vez en cuando pico aquí y allá: biografías, cultura contemporánea, ciencia ficción, filosofía y política.
Autores preferidos: Homero, Tolstói, Cervantes, Dostoievski, Stendhal, Dante, Platón...

Slow and therefore rather intentional reader since a few years back. Not looking for the “pleasure of reading” (not avoiding it either), but learning about human culture to understand what we are, as pretentious as that may sound. That’s why I’m almost exclusively trying to read first the big classics from the so-called Western canon (and probably expanding to other “canons” in the future).
Genres: Fiction, Ancient Greek and Latin literature, 19th century Russian and French realist and psychological novels, classics, Western Canon. Sometimes I grab a bite here and there on biography, contemporary culture, selected sci-fi, philosophy and politics.
Favorite authors: Homer, Tolstoy, Cervantes, Dostoevsky, Stendhal, Dante, Plato...
