I've been fascinated by Hundred Rabbits' (100r.co) tales of life aboard their sailboat and they talk about reading Pardey and I saw it on the shelf at Powell's so here I am.
This is really relaxing low-drama read that scratches an itch I've had recently for nautical, ship-board life accounts.
Except for the whole thing of the Ishmael Wong losing his mother at the beginning and being forced to leave his planet it's pretty much stress-free. Ishmael has to work at stuff but he succeeds at everything. You'd think it would be boring but instead it's comforting.
