I get why so many people see this book as exhaustive, but I kind of love it about that. Maybe it's the title that would imply a more succinct book, perhaps it's fairer to call it "The History of Star Wars". Highly recommend the audiobook version as the narrator does impressions of George Lucas, Mark Hamill, Francis Ford Coppola and others and they are pretty funny but convincing.
