Tina J Collins reviewed Surviving A Psychopath by Kerrie Droban
Useful study guide
4 stars
Surviving a Psychopath is a intense, complex read which captured my interest in the first half of the book. No one likes to admit that they recognise themselves in a book about psychopaths but I did find some useful information with regards to other personality disorders. This included tips and advice how to interact with sufferers if you find yourself in a relationship with them.
Dotted throughout this book are examples of real life cases and how psychopaths can interact within an intimate relationship. These really help to understand how this personality disorder can present with regards to behaviour using such tools like gas-lighting and manipulation to achieve goals. It also highlights the consequences that may occur from this trickery, to the victim themselves. A very useful guide that could be used for study and research purposes.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
