Yeah, the Aftermath books aren't the Thrawn trilogy (which I coincidentally reread just before this, so I'm well aware of the contrast between the two), but they're entertaining. The anger of some fellow Star Wars nerds at losing the old expanded universe is leading them to unfairly dismiss this series out of hand, in my opinion.
