This has her usual strong characters and great dialogue. In this one, she cooks up a complex surrogate mother/adoption scenario, and introduces you to each of the parties in turn then spins the action up to the birth and awhile afterwards. There's quite a cast. The core is the college girl who donates her eggs, surrogate mother who carries it to term, and the test-tube father and his wife who are adopting the baby. But of course this also involves their families, and oh my how Weiner stirs it up!
