Review of 'The three Weissmanns of Westport' on 'Goodreads'
A very nice "Sense and Sensibility". It's in the present day, set in Manhattan and Westport, with a brief jaunt to Palm Springs. Mother is divorcing rather than widowed, so the estranged huband/step-father takes the role of the conflicted and stingy older stepbrother. Mother is in her seventies, and the daughters are hitting fifty, so the age dynamic is different, too. But it's still a modern Austen.
