This was not a book I cruised through. In fact, I had to check it out from the library twice and never built up a lot of momentum. It didn't feel super actionable to me, or concise. For a better summary than I can provide, see www.goodreads.com/book/show/15894631-men-women-and-worthiness, but the gist is three steps:
- Reckon with your emotions by noticing and investigating them.
- Rumble with the stories you tell yourself to uncover false beliefs.
- Revolutionize your attitude with the results, like Brené changed hers about generosity.
Basically, pay attention to the reasons behind what you're feeling instead of just simmering in the feeling itself. I'll give it a shot...
