Neuromancer is really, for me, the seminal work of cyberpunk fiction. While the tech seems a bit dated in some ways, the way Gibson depicts it makes the specs irrelevant. It's more concerned with the way we live than the gadgets that we use while living, and it's brilliant. A must-read for all sci-fi fans.
