Well I had high hopes for this book.
But in the first 10 or so chapters, we heard more storied about their shenanigans. Work stories that you would share down the pub over a few pints. Where you are comparing silly things you do in work time to kill the monotony. Yes I know they had more reason to do so, since they see the horrific side of humans everyday first hand.
I didn't start to read this book to learn about how distracting high heals and short skirts are multiple times. Or how brilliant she was at typing.
It could have been more than 10 chapters, I don't know as I tended to tune out. And had to rewind back when I noticed this was not a prank but tool/skill they were now speaking about.
I wanted to know about the technics they are using to solve a crime, which steps they took, how learned from each other, how forensics have evolved over the years. There isn't much of that in this book.
As another reviewer put it "a self-indulgent memoir", isn't anything more.
