Yashima reviewed Logicomix by Christos Papadimitriou
Review of 'Logicomix' on 'Goodreads'
5 stars
Quite the heavy read for a comic book but a very light one for a book about the intersecting history of logic, modern mathematics and philosophy. This biography of "Bertie" Russell should not be attempted unless one is somehow attuned to these nerdy pastimes. I think I must now go back and read up on a few philosophers. I like that quote on page 255: "I have totally solved all the problems of philosophy!" and Bertie thinks: "Good old Wittgenstein. Modesty was never his strong point."
Recommended for historians, philosophers, math and logic lovers - in short thinkers ;)
Thanks for giving me this for my birthday!
