While I appreciate the intricate structure of the novel, I was unable to enjoy the prestige.

I did not enjoy spending so much time in the heads of two utter bastards trying to justify themselves to themselves in their journals.

If this wasn't considered a classic with the promise of a great reveal at the end, I don't think I'd have finished reading The Prestige.

And frankly I'm either missing something or everything was telegraphed well in advance.
