A little heavier on the romance side than my usual fare, A Court of Thorns and Roses is very well written and didn't make me cringe.
While I had some questions about the world, they where answered in good time.
Feyre is very competent, but she has a strong tendency to jump into action without a plan and needs to be rescued quite allot.
However this is consistent with the fact that she is indeed way in over her head.
