After reading Planetfall I dove into After Atlas without even reading the blurb.

I was surprised by Emma Naewman's choice to move the story to a new character and a new location. I wanted to know more about the mysterious alien artifact from Planetfall, But Newman gave me something else. another journey with a complicated person on a different yet tragically recognizable future earth.
