Review of 'Railsea' on 'Goodreads'

The first few passages made me weary of this title. It seemed like Moby Dick with trains in place of ships and giant moles instead of wales.

Railsea turned out to be much more than that. Playing with the MOvy Dick theme but not following it to the letter.

There are some pretty banal politics and some heavy handed references to early 21st century issues, but overall this is a fun and rather well rounded pirate adventure.

The mixed technology post apocalyptic world reminded me of Terminal World.
