I was pleasantly surprised by The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

I'm usually a bit weary of runaway best sellers.

I'm also not much into punk culture, but the book wasn't about the Girl, it had the Girl in it and she wasn't just some bitchy punk.

I thought the epilogue was way too long, but perhaps it's setting up the scene for the next book in the trilogy.
