An OK read. Very fast-paced but also a bit too ludicrous and hollow.

A tale set in a world in which technological advances have been suppressed finds particle physicist Jon Grady helping to innovate a device capable of reflecting gravity only to be targeted by a shadowy organization from the future.
An OK read. Very fast-paced but also a bit too ludicrous and hollow.
A good fictional story about what if our technology had advanced. Unfortunately it couldn't avoid some dragging of the story close to the end.
A fun and quick read based on upcoming technology hypotheticals. As a geek it was pretty easy to follow as a gamer I tip my hat at a Leroy Jenkins mention. I thought for a moment this might become a series which would have been neat as well.
Really enjoyed this book. I loved Suarez's first two novels (Daemon and Freedom(tm)) but was really disappointed in his third (Kill Decision). This book is much more like the former than the latter. It doesn't deal with big ideas, but the story is compelling and fun, and there's a little technical twist at the end I really like.
This book was set in the far-future and didn't have the believability of the previous novels. It was an entertaining read.
