And again Cassandra wrote an addicting book! The first ~30% of the book didn't caught me much, but then...! And now I can hardly wait to read the final book. Oh brother Zecherias - when will you tell them who you are?! In the first three books it was a lot about the romance between Clary and Jace but in those books 4+5 I think that the story itself is much more in focus and maybe the relationship between Simon and Izzy, oh they are so funny and great together! A propos relationship: Magnus? What's going on?!?
Plus: Maureen - hell yes!

hmmmmmmmmm. The plot in this one is really good so an improvement on the last book.

I always root for the bad guys in books but I just don't like Sebastian, he is very flat almost as if he has been lifted out of a harry potter novel, I hate him for the same reason I hate those books. BRING BACK VALENTINE!!!!

This fifth book in the Mortal Instrument series was good. As always, Clary and Jace as well as the other characters survived another near apocalypse. There was non-stop action. The characters, mostly Clary, became more mature. I can't wait for the sixth book when they hopefully stop Sebastian once and for all.
