As other reviewers have pointed out, none of these stories really qualify as "dangerous" by 21st or even 20th century standards, but if you're interested in the history of speculative fiction as a genre, Harlan's introduction is useful for some context, although it is biased (as is everything he ever wrote).
Lieber's "Gonna Roll the Bones" is a FANTASTIC short story, regardless of its genre, and Sladek's "The Happy Breed" is also quite good, but much of what I read in this anthology inspired only a semi-mirthful "meh" from me. And some of these stories are, quite frankly, awful--and awfully disappointing, especially the ones that were written by writers as talented as Robert Silverberg, but I think that's the risk Ellison took by commissioning these stories rather than finding material to reprint.
