Still pretty good, this one. Rand is such a sweetheart, they don't make protagonists like that anymore. Why is everything so LONG, though. Dear fantasy writers of old, it would have been ok to perhaps not describe every little detail, yeah?
Too bad a didn't read this as a teenager, I would have been thrilled by the prospect of endless pages still ahead of me. Now I'm too old and don't have that kind of patience anymore.
