Leia reviewed Prime Directive by T. Davis Bunn
Decent Novella
4 stars
So there is a lot of, as Geralt of Rivia puts, "hm." I dislike the concept of a human space empire being a good thing. The use of quazi-Araibic culture feels very...white.
Looking up the author on Wikipedia, he apparently usually incorporates a lot of Christian themes in his work. I'm not surprised at that, if I can't say this one felt heavy handed in that regard.
It was a decent read without much challenging to it, but I don't see reading more of the author.
