Chris reviewed Cockpit by Jerzy Kosinski

The only Kosinski I've ever read and at least he admitted this one was completely fictional, even if the main character is a Gary Stu IMHO: he's author + James Bond, though realistically-depicted 007 would be a stone cold psycho and this one is.
Memorable for being weird, I'd say.
Didn't make me want to read anything else by him, and this was at a time when Kosinski was popular, mostly because of the movie of "Being There."
Only reminded of it because of looking up info on the Interslavic language, which has been used in the film “The Painted Bird” – because when you don’t want to cast your villains specifically as Russians, Poles or Ukrainians what else are you going to do?
