Reading this, I feel that that point of the story is not really about the details of the world. The world is ending, everything is gone, but there's no real questions on how we got here nor any answers. It's not about how the world ended. And it's barely about the background of our characters. We know a little about where they come from, but the focus here is who they are, what motivates them and how they grow with each other. How we find love in the middle of darkness. It's a beautiful story and I'm excited to keep reading more.
