Was ist damals wirklich geschehen?
I loved the story.
Tana French writes some wonderful dialogue! I always enjoy her style, as a writer. The characters are real and the cultural backdrop is stimulating in an educational way, for some of us.
Faithful Place details the family background of Frank Mackey, the undercover agent who was an important background character in The Witch Elm. His dysfunctional family and the plot are compelling, but I was surprised at how easily it was to figure out who the guilty party was.
I'll stop there. This was an engaging read, and I will certainly continue to read Dublin Murder Squad books.

Wow! This was AWESOME! I cannot wait to read the next in the series! I enjoyed this so much and was in full attention and waiting for the next page throughout the entirety! Great read! Fun! Exciting and thrilling! Descriptive and engaging writing that truly is a delight! LOVE!!!
Reviewed for Mystery Scene magazine. I thought it was brilliant. Terrific voice for the main character and lovely writing that is very different than the lush and rather baroque style of her first novel.
