Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, now with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together, they're plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and prevent her army from invading Earth. Their best hope lies with Cress, a girl trapped on a satellite since childhood who's only ever had her netscreens as company.

Where do I even begin? This might be my favorite in the series so far but I wonder if Winter might end up taking that spot in the end.

Being the second thickest of the 4 books, this one sures holds a ton of twists and turns, loads of memorable scenes, and a good handful of reveals and worldbuilding. I'm so glad I started reading this series and I cannot wait to start the final book.

Review of 'Cress' on 'Goodreads'

I have a confession to make. Part of why I started buying these books is that they're really, really pretty. Also because after reading the first I just knew I had to own them, but that might not have been enough to breach my anti-buying-things barrier if the books themselves weren't so f-ing gorgeous.

Now that I've finished this third book, I'm going to bask in the warm glow it's created inside me and enjoy that until it fades, and I'm not going to think at all about how the next and final book won't be published for ages.
