I hadn't read any of the What If novels but I'm glad I started because this was quite an interesting read! I hope they do more of these!

I wasn't really sure what to expect this but this first half was honestly just kinda ok. It jumps around a lot and is pretty difficult to follow but at least the individual stories were neat.

Where do I even begin? This might be my favorite in the series so far but I wonder if Winter might end up taking that spot in the end.

Being the second thickest of the 4 books, this one sures holds a ton of twists and turns, loads of memorable scenes, and a good handful of reveals and worldbuilding. I'm so glad I started reading this series and I cannot wait to start the final book.

I didn't really know what to expect with this other than Amazon reviews were praising how good this is and they're not wrong! This was quite the pageturner. Can't wait to read Volume 2!

This was so intriguing to read. Seeing the history of various different heroes and stories on one timeline and as if they existed in our world really made this a page-turner. I especially loved the epilogue. I'm gonna think about this for a long time after.

This series might become my favorite of all time by the time I finish the other two books. I had a really good time with this one. The only major complaint I have is that I wasn't very fond of some of the narrative decisions. I was hoping that the wolves would just be another group of evil/dangerous people in the world rather than working directly under Levana and being connected to the big bad. I also wasn't super excited over the plot twist that Scarlet is 1/4 lunar. I was hoping that the girls would be a mix of human and lunar to promote an idea of unity and cooperation between the two groups but oh well. It is called the Lunar Chronicles anyways. That aside, I thoroughly enjoyed this and can't wait to read the short story at the end of the book as well as continue with …

This sequel series feels like an extended special episode after the ending of the original series. I really like how this is addressing things like what that Barracks 14 business was all about and how that came to be. Also, the reanimated Maleficent reveal at the end was surprising and really creepy. Some parts were kinda predictable but overall, I can't wait to read the finale!
