I didn't really know what to expect with this other than Amazon reviews were praising how good this is and they're not wrong! This was quite the pageturner. Can't wait to read Volume 2!

Seit Jahren tu ich mich schwer mit aktuellen Comics aus der Welt um Batman. Aber das viele Lob an Tom Taylor für seine Nightwing-Hefte hat mich neugierig werden lassen. Und bei diesem Band "Leaping into the Light" (oder in deutscher Fassung "Der Sprung ins Licht" - ISBN 978-3741626944) stimmt wirklich alles. Die Geschichte geht relativ flott voran, hat Spannungsmomente und Szenen zum Schmunzeln, die für mich wirklich funktionieren. Hinzu kommt ein Zeichner, dessen Stil sich mit "Augenschmaus-Optik" beschreiben ließe. Ich bin echt erstaunt und fast traurig, so lange gezögert zu haben. Das Werk erinnert mich an sehr lesenswerte Marvel-Geschichten um Daredevil und Hawkeye.
