This was hit or miss pretty much. I think Inman padded quite a bit to get to a full volume here. Some of the sketches are amusing, such as the classic "How to know if your cat is plotting to kill you." However, other jokes felt more like he was trying to milk the original sketch just a bit further, and it fell kind of flat. To be honest, I could have done without the office Bobs, which I felt were just so-so to say the least. Overall, the book is just like his website, which if you have seen, you know what you are in for. Personally, I like The Oatmeal, some days better than others. Inman is not perfect every time but when he is cooking, he does it well. This book is a borrow rather than buy, and I would say mostly for those who are hardcore …
