"Poisoner In Chief" Review

This was a re-read for me.

Enjoyed it just as much the second time around.

This is a well sourced and written account of Sidney Gottlieb and his work on MK-ULTRA, the CIA's attempt to discover and harness mind control.

Quite eye-opening.

Probably the most sane and believable book about MK ULTRA. If I had read this first I would have been able to judge and criticise some of the other books on the topic much better.

Ends with interesting dilemmas. To what extend can you break the law if you believe the country is in danger? If you swear an oath to secrecy does that include keeping your secrets from a future government if called to testify?
