After the events of Godkiller, Sunbringer slows down and moves from a quest-centric plotline to the building tension of conflict between those that support the eradication of gods for the safety of the people and those that feel the outlawing of gods to be a impression of their beliefs and rights. I found the implications of godhood and divinity to be very interesting as presented throughout the events of this book.
This volume felt more like moving chess pieces around than the first one, but left me looking forward to the final book.
