I didn't like the first one. I read the second because I thought someone said it was good?
Bad news, gang. It wasn't.
The cast of unlikeable characters grows to maybe six?
And again, the plot ties together way too nicely. Everyone just happens to be in the perfect spot for plot to happen.
This was definitely a hate finish.

A quick, fun read. Liked it marginally better than Vicious because it moves beyond Eli and Victor, but the development of the new characters gets a little muddy. And the climax could've been much more.

I still like the series and the universe Schwab has built.
