I kind of got what I wanted with this one, it's a fun book, not too deep, not too shallow, with a good group of characters, and a feeling of found family, which is something I really enjoy. I'm not quite sure about the whole alien romance thing, but most of the time that wasn't really coming in the way of my enjoyment of the book. It's fun, and written well.
