This time around, Jason Pargin (a.k.a David Wong), of [b:John Dies at the End|1857440|John Dies at the End (John Dies at the End, #1)|David Wong|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1189289716l/1857440.SY75.jpg|1858059] John Dies at the End fame, ditches the horror and sci-fi tropes and goes for a contemporary satire of social media madness.

He dealt with social media before, especially in his Zoe Ashe novels. But this time the more realistic setting and the attempt to find a way out of the vortex results in more than fun satire.
