Long ago, a village made a bargain with the devil: to ensure their prosperity, when the Slaughter Moon rises, the village must sacrifice a young man to the depths of the Devil's Forest.

Only this year, the Slaughter Moon has risen early.

Bound by duty, secrets, and the love they share for one another, Mariwen, a spirited witch; Rhun, the expected saint; and Arthur, a restless outcast, will each have a role to play as the devil demands a body to fill the bargain. But the devil these friends find is not the one they expect, and the lies they uncover will turn their town--and their hearts--inside out.

Something's gone wrong with the bargain....

Strange Grace

I loooved this, seriously, I wasn't "sucked" in from the begginning, but after finishing it, I feel like almost giving it 5 stars.. ugh the struggle is real.

The characters are so interesting and diverse, the romance parts were very good (the polyamorous relationship especially), and even more than that, the story and myth surrounding their village and forest, were so compelling and beautiful.

The way it is written can be confusing, but I personally enjoyed it, the writing itself brought to the mystery and féerie of Strange Grace, this story felt so unique.

In conclusion, Mair, Arthur and Rhun are my babies forever
