Definitely a worthwhile read. This book is a series of stories written as memoirs with a couple fantasy stories as well. This book is focused on family and immigration, but it is filled with commentary on cultural identity, gender, relationships, and honor.
Absolute trudge. Read it for class, felt like it was written for reading in class. Neither particularly moving prose nor engaging story.
