Its a Story with Horror Roots

3 stars

Just finished reading. Its a short, fast read. This year, Ive read a lot of horror classics like Turn of the Key, The Haunting of Hill House, and ive watched my share of "paranormal horror" movies. Its an interesting and different story. The writing reads like the classic novels (writing style wise, not super detailed), characters are just solid enough, etc. I myself was not surprised by the end. Did not scare me but interesting enough story with more unique concepts.
