Este segundo libro de la serie también me cautivó con su historia de amor particular entre Anthony y Kate. Pero también me gustó mucho el relato sobre el amor entre los papás y el triste y temprano deceso de su padre, lo cual marcó al vizconde de forma tan particular, llevándole a crear su fama de mujeriego en su afán de disfrutar la vida que, según él, sería corta igual que la de su progenitor.
Por otro lado, la vida de Kate también se hace interesante, de como una joven que tiene la “desgracia” de tener una hermana más hermosa queda opacada por esta. Pero también de como siendo la mayor, asume la responsabilidad autoimpuesta de velar porque su bella hermana se case bien y se aleje de aquellos que pueden poner en peligro su virtud.
En fin, que es un poco más serena que la novela anterior pero siempre …

En fin, que es un poco más serena que la novela anterior pero siempre muy entretenida, con los convencionalismos de la época, pero con una picardía muy propia del presente.
Estos libros son para leerlos de corrido y en un suspiro.

Guilty pleasure.
The drama about her fear of thunderstorms was a bit much but the rest was very enjoyable.
