I hate cliffhangers! You must read all 3 books to get a complete story. It is just over 1000 pages.
If you are an audiobook listener, the last book doesn't come in audio so be ready to read it.

This was really good until the ending. Someone said that the main story was answered, nope, nothing was answered and it left several cliffhangers. This was a 1/3 of the story. I cannot even review or rate it as it is unfinished. It definitely kept my interest and I was really liking it so far. Here is what we are left with She is changing as the doctor has mentioned it twice that she seems rotted, also she killed the woman controlling her with a touch. The captain is an asshole and had a kill order on her because she knows too much twice and has some sort of control over Rupert, her lover. Rupert takes all her memories of him in the end and leaves her with a nauseous feeling when she sees him now. The captain is mad because she is not dead. The other guy that captured her knows that she is infected and has told her that the captain is an asshole. He obviously is too and is a symbiot too. Symbiots are invincible... almost. What is killing the aliens and making zombies? What are the secrets? Why did the captain have command controls over her suit? cliffhangers galore. She is a great character so I'll read on.

Just finished the 3rd installment and it ends up being a really good story though you do see who the real bad guys are way ahead of the others. Still it was a fun ride. Cliffhangers for both books 1 & 2 so expect to read the whole serial to get to the end.

Light and engaging, I quite enjoyed this. Nothing too ground breaking in terms of plot ideas, but solidly written space opera and some fun characters to boot.

Fun & action filled sci-fi romance with a side-order of Serenity - or so it felt. I never thought I'd ever read that combination. I liked Devi who is a bad-ass heroine! And aliens and tentacles and ... it was a quick and easy read and I did not really want to put down the book once started - took me only two evenings to finish.

The end of this first installment of a series felt a little too much like someone hit the reset button followed by the pause button. Other than my dissatisfaction with the ending, I enjoyed meeting Devi Morris in all her Paradoxian kick-ass fury.
