This is where I got off the series, not because I found this book any worse than previous volumes, it just happened to be the most recent book in print when I was reading them. By the time I decided to check out more recent volumes I saw reviews that confirmed the books had strayed even further from the strengths of the series, so I passed.

These books aren't terrible, but I just can't ever see returning to the series when there are so many other better books to read out there.
