I do love me some PG Wodehouse sometimes. This was his standard silly upper-class England social jaunt. It's the first of his Blandings Castle books; I prefer the Jeeves ones. But it was a good romp.
This novel was mildly humorous in spots. The tale moves slowly, but the prose is well written. I think this was not the best P.G. Wodehouse to begin acquainting oneself with his style.
