I really enjoyed this story, the treasure hunt in a city brought low but not broken by climate change (and the massive effects of that). The tension between a future where we stay the course that is bleak yet with story of the individual and community still trying to do good providing a bitter sweet book
If only sharing a political agenda were enough to like a novel…
Frightening and thrilling. So many ideas to dissect. History and science fiction blended together to paint a bittersweet vision of the future. Overall, excellent story and characters. Loved it.
Great premise (water level has risen to cover a large part of downtown Manhattan) and lots to think about, but too long, and not that well written.
