Look, the last book was reasonably solid, and I greatly enjoyed it. I'll forgive a lot for good plot and character progression. This one? Made me eject from the series. Things characters learned discarded, basic well drilled caution (often touted, but admittedly rarely displayed) seriously discarded... and it was at this point that I realized the primary threat used over the course of the series was rape, and that most male threat was misogynistic in the extreme...
Yeah, I'm out.
