More like a collection of mediocre short stories with the same main character and a couple of uninteresting story arcs that go nowhere. But you won't care anyways.

I haven't read John Grisham in a long time, but I really, really enjoyed this. I loved the characters and the anger that Rudd has for the corrupt system.
