This book too, sadly, is no Wool. It is weird how a guy does not get better from having a publisher and (I presume) a lot more tie to think about it. I guess there is a lesson there. But, the book is a lot more enjoyable than the Shell Collector!

Molly is a great main character and the book is full of exciting twists and plot arcs. But the loviest part I think are the Firefly-like crew encounters full of friendly banter and humor and love. All drifters that just happened to be part of one crew now, with lots of questions still to be addressed. I am looking forward to part 2!

I admit, it took a few chapters for me to get into the story. I like the alien worlds and cultures. I also like how Molly and Cole are constantly unprepared for what happens next. They are two people dragged by circumstances to unexpected adventures.
